日本の私たちが送っている
米国ノースダコタ州のリーさんの投稿をご紹介します。
先週の火曜日、M4M(メダル4メトル）の
病児さんたちへのメダル贈呈式が行われました。
今回で、北ダコタ州の病児さんに送られた
M4Mのメダル数が6500枚を超えました。
（注釈：日本から寄付されたメダルは
そのうち1000個は下らないと思います。イエイ！）
6500枚のメダル。
それは単に合計数や総数のことを
すごいなって言っているんじゃないんです。
純粋に「誰かのことを思う」という気持ちであり、
一人の人間から他の人間への一瞬のつながりであり、
「応援しているよ...」
って声をかけてあげるだけのことでもあります。

January 20th, 2023 This past Tuesday's medal presentations for Medals4Mettle to some outstanding young patients (fellow runners in Life's journey) allowed the North Dakota Chapter of Medals4Mettle to surpass 6500 medals.
In all honesty, my friend, it's truly not about the tally or total. It is simply about the "touch"; that instant connection between one human being to another human being and simply whispering (what we yell on the sidelines of a marathon), "You've got this. Keep going. The finish line is just up ahead. And your moment of glory awaits you..."
