先日は素晴らしい日でした！
「Miracle on Main All Abilities Relay（メインでのミラクル。すべての人のリレー）」というイベントで、
２０人の若者がM４Mのメダルを受け取りました。
これは、ノースダコタ州の首都のファーゴでのイベントです。
リレーの最終ランナーは１９歳のジャスティンくんです。
ジャスティンくんは、人生の殆どを車椅子で過ごしているのですけど、
今回、このイベントで歩いて参加するのを目標に歩行器の練習をしてきたのです。
自閉症、脳性マヒ、などなどで足止めなんてくらってませんぞ！
みんなおめでとう！ここのYoutube でイベントの様子が見られます。
私たち、日本人ランナーの送ったメダルの中から、
2014年のボストンマラソンのメダルが選ばれて、
ジャスティンくんに送られています。
動画の５分ぐらいのところにインタビューがあります。
日本人の皆さん、
いつもたくさんのメダルをノースダコタに送ってくださってありがとう！
子供達はみんなすごーく喜んでいます！

What a phenomenal day yesterday was! 20 young souls were recipients of M4M medals at the Miracle on Main All Abilities Relay in downtown Fargo, ND. And leading them to the finish line of the relay was 19-year-old Justin Meyer; Justin has spent most of his life in a wheelchair but he trained at TNT Fitness with his walker so he could walk as part of the relay. Special thanks to M4M Coordinator Yoshiko Jo - many of the medals awarded (including the 2014 Boston Marathon medal to Justin - see the interview around 5:00 of the video) were from her donation to North Dakota! The children were ECSTATIC!
